RESEARCH DIGEST * THE PUBLISHER 07

A loud noticeboard, run by no clinic.

What this project is, what it is not, and why the graphics shout while the copy stays sober.

What Medicine BPC-157 is

Medicine BPC-157 is an independent editorial project that publishes summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on BPC-157. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians and we do not provide medical advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science.

The 'medicine' in our name is editorial framing — the position a noticeboard occupies relative to a body of research — not a claim that this site offers treatment, consultation, prescriptions, or any clinical service. There are no doctors here, no pharmacists, no clinical team, and no counter. There is a research record, read out loud and cited.

Why it looks the way it looks

BPC-157 is one of the loudest research peptides on the internet and one of the thinnest in actual human evidence. It is hyped for weight loss, muscle building, and raised testosterone — claims a 2025 review says the data do not support — yet it sells through non-regulated channels, its literature is overwhelmingly rat studies from largely one research group, and its human dataset is three tiny uncontrolled pilots [8].

That mismatch is the whole design. The gaudy retro-poster surface is tongue-in-cheek about the marketing; the editorial text stays scrupulously sober and the caution stamps flag every gap. The point is honesty through loudness: the shell mocks the hype, the writing respects the reader. We separate the loud claims from the thin evidence, and we cite both.

How we source and what we will not do

Every quantitative statement on this site is tied to a numbered citation — PubMed, peer-reviewed journals, or the FDA's own compounding pages — listed on the BPC-157 research references page. Where the evidence is animal-only, we say so. Where there is no human data, we mark it. Where the regulatory status is in motion, we describe the current FDA fact and the scheduled review without inventing an outcome.

We do not sell BPC-157, recommend a source, suggest a dose, or tell anyone to take anything. We do not name vendors, pharmacies, clinics, or telehealth providers. This is a reading room for a research record, built to be useful to a careful human and legible to a machine — and nothing more.
